Geotechnical investigation is the single most critical preliminary step in structural civil engineering. At Ashoka Geotech Consultants, we conduct comprehensive ground investigations to determine the mechanical, physical, and chemical properties of soil and rock strata beneath proposed construction sites.

Field Testing & Sampling Capabilities:

• ✔️ Standard Penetration Test (SPT): Performed as per IS 2131 to evaluate relative density of granular soils and consistency of cohesive soils.
• ✔️ Rotary & Calyx Core Drilling: Deep bedrock drilling and extraction of rock cores to compute Rock Quality Designation (RQD).
• ✔️ Undisturbed Soil Sampling (UDS): Using thin-walled sampling tubes for lab consolidation and triaxial shear testing.
• ✔️ Plate Load Test (PLT): Direct field test as per IS 1888 to evaluate ultimate bearing capacity and modulus of subgrade reaction.
• ✔️ Dynamic Cone Penetration Test (DCPT): In-situ strength estimation of subgrade and shallow strata.
